BREEAM

Oxford has been leading the way in environmental certification by having the first BREEAM certified consultant in the Baltics and Balkan markets. We have undertaken/ are undertaking projects such as American Corner, the first Estonian commercial centre registered as BREEAM (Outlet centre BREEAM Very Good), Adamsoni (overview Very Good), the first Estonian residential complex to be analysed using BREEAM and Oxford Park. Also, according to the media, Northern Europe’s largest sustainable development, which was thoroughly analysed.

In the latter case and in our projects in general, we use a sustainable guideline – the Oxford 360 degree Sustainability Index. This goes further than environmental certificates since it covers all aspects of sustainability, such as investment, finnce, economy, social aspects, government aspects, local and global aspects such as carbon neutrality and the green supply chain. As a developer ourselves, we consider the bottom-line, not just how to develop a theoretical green project, but how we can add the maximum environmental effect and achieve the best credentials for the lowest cost - or even increase the project revenue to enhance profit for the project owner.
